Dr. Iosif Hadjikyriakos is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and has studied Art History and Archaeology at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He continued his studies with a Master’s degree and PhD in Cultural Anthropology. Since 2023, he has been the Director of the Phivos Stavridis Archives and a co-creator of the Larnaka 2030 cultural programme.
He is a member of the National UNESCO Commission of Cyprus and collaborates with local and national cultural institutions, with a particular focus on the documentation, preservation, and promotion of cultural heritage—both tangible and intangible. His interdisciplinary background in art, history, and anthropology provides him with a holistic understanding of the cultural field and its applications in contemporary society. Through his work, he seeks to bridge the past with the present, highlighting the essential role of culture in everyday life.
