Costakis Constantinou was born in Nicosia and raised in Larnaca. In 1974 he graduated from St. George’s Lyceum and until 1976 he completed his compulsory military service in National Guard of Cyprus as Reserve Lieutenant. He studied Business Administration at BCA COLLEGE in Athens and he graduated with honors 18 5/6.
He is married to Giannoula and he has two children, Alexandros and Marlen. In 1981 he was employed in Larnaca Municipality as Municipal Storekeeper, but at the same time he offered his services in many Municipal Departments such as Cultural Services, Tenders office and for 20 years he was in charge of Christmas decorations for the town.
He retired in 2021 in the position of the Head of the Department of the Green Areas of Larnaca Municipality. Since 1997 he has been working for CyBC both the Radio station and T.V channel. He was a Member of boards of PEZOPORIKOS and AEK Larnaca’s football clubs and Provincial Organizing Director of Scouts of Larnaca Province.
