Co-Creators Assembly 2026

Common Ground

Larnaka 2030, in collaboration with the Larnaca Music School “Mikis Theodorakis” , is pleased to announce the grand meeting of its co-creators. On the weekend of March 28 and 29, 2026, at St. George’s Lyceum in Larnaka, the annual Co-Creators Assembly, a two-day conference dedicated to the presentation, understanding, and enrichment of the Artistic Program of the European Capital of Culture 2030.

The event is addressed to independent artists, artistic groups, cultural institutions and organisations, youth groups, and residents.

The conference as a whole opens up the artistic program to the collective imagination of the city. It transforms residents, creators, and communities from spectators into co-creators. It creates a living mechanism of listening and collaboration, where cultural production is not imposed from above, but is built together.

The main objective of the conference is to present in detail the program, projects, and works of Larnaka 2030 as submitted and approved in the process of applying for the title of ECoC 2030, as well as the working groups and curators/project leaders who are developing them.

At the same time, the conference has a second objective, which is to pave the way for the inclusion of new ideas in the programme. This will not be done through the submission of established proposals, but through the interconnection of interested creators and groups with the existing working groups of Larnaka 2030.

The conference will be held in Greek.

Those interested in actively participating in the process are invited, as a first step, to study the final Larnaka 2030 bid book (available here), paying particular attention to Chapter 2, which concerns the artistic vision and structure of the program. The inclusion of new ideas requires participation in a working group, which, through collective processing, can lead to the production of a new project.
