The 1950s Pumber Hat in a soft sugar-paper blue. It is low in shape and made of fine nylon straw pulled to a silky finish. Its brim is adorned with four wide ribbons, interwoven to form a decorative knot from which rises a brightly colored feather from an exotic bird.

The hat belonged to the rich collection of headwear owned by Popi Kiprianou, originally from Lefkara, who married Andreas Evriviadis—well-known in Larnaka as a writer, musician, businessman, owner of the famous seaside hotel Four Lanterns. Together they had a son and a daughter; their son is the renowned Larnaka painter Evros Evriviadis.

Popi was a woman admired for her elegance and beauty. She was considered a fashion icon of her time, and newspapers often mentioned her name as a symbol of refined style, noble poise, and aesthetic grace.
