Larnaka 2030
Ignites Cultural Innovation through diverse, community-driven projects.
Larnaka2030’s flagship initiatives — ΜαχαΛart, Larnaka BioDesign and Care Festival — blend arts, sustainability, and civic engagement, transforming Larnaka into a vibrant cultural hub ahead of its European Capital of Culture bid.
ΜαχαΛart, initiated by Larnaca 2030, is an annual cultural event spotlighting the city’s overlooked neighbourhoods. Embracing inclusivity and co-creation, it transforms Larnaca’s diverse urban fabric into a stage for artistic expression, championing equal cultural access and community engagement through art.
Larnaka 2030 launches Cyprus’ first BioDesign Festival, blending art, science, and sustainability. From algae-based fashion to fungi-built structures, it invites bold thinking about ecological responsibility. The festival positions Larnaκa as a creative hub for biodesign in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The Cyprus Arts and Education (CARE) Festival is a vibrant new initiative by Larnaca 2030. Bringing artists and educators together, it fosters care, creativity, and connection through performances and workshops, inspiring a more humane and interdependent society.
